Tech Toy of the Day: Playstation 3 Slim Posted: 27 Aug 2009 08:10 AM PDT The good folks at Sony have created an even better PlayStation 3 , but it has come with some controversy.   The all new 120GB slim version of the popular console is selling for only $299 – $100 cheaper than the original.  Best Buy has reportedly been swamped with people trying to return their original unit and replace it with the new slim unit.  In order to combat this they are offering free games out to customers so they keep their current console.  I picked up my PS3 around Christmas and it is amazing so if you pick one up let me know your online name and we can shoot it out in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
